The Wild Heerbrugg Areal is developing a mobility concept. Through close cooperation with local companies, public transport providers and political players, commuter traffic is to be increasingly shifted to environmentally friendly alternatives such as buses, trains or bicycles. The goal: an efficiently networked concept that fulfils the mobility needs of companies and their employees and significantly reduces emissions.

The residents of the municipality of Balgach also have a voice in the "Anker West" special utilisation plan. When the consultation process ends on 4 October 2024, the suggestions and requirements will be incorporated into the final design plan for the "Anker West" high-rise building, one of the centrepieces of the new Wild Heerbrugg Areal.
With the approval of the special utilisation plan, the Wild Heerbrugg Areal can look forward to a promising future. An important milestone that continues the site's 100-year history and lays the foundation for innovative, sustainable development.
